Muhoroni Success Primary School
HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

Muhoroni Success Primary School was initiated in 1979 as a Nursery School for the young children of the Senior Management of the then East African Sugar Industries(EASI) who desired to have their children get quality education and that had to travel all the way to Kisumu 60km away.

After two years of successful nursery education, the management decided to start a Primary School wing to absorb the pupils from the nursery class. “Success" as the nursery was considered, became its name.

In 1989 "Muhoroni" was added to the name of the school to give it identity with the locality hence "MUHORONI SUCCESS". Our school is a day mixed Primary school owned by Muhoroni Sugar Company.

SCHOOL PERFORMANCE

Muhoroni Success Primary School took its first National Examination (KCPE) in 1988 and since then it's been performing very well.

Muhoroni Success has fairly competed with its contemporaries defying all odds to ensure consistency in its performance by always remaining at the top.

In the released 2017 KCPE results our school was ranked 14th nationally and 2nd in Muhoroni Sub-County. For the last five years we have maintained positions 1 and 2 in the county.
